Residents along the area and students of Fatima University are the main &lt;span style="font-style:italic;"&gt;beneficiary&lt;/span&gt; of this structure.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I don’t know much about writing but I’m a little &lt;span style="font-style:italic;"&gt;well-versed&lt;/span&gt; about construction.  However, no one needs to be an engineer or a safety practitioner to know that this footbridge is hazardous. Needless to say, the power line is an obstruction crossing amidst the stair flight. A five feet six inches tall person like me would probably bump his head on the cables on the first landing of the staircase at night.  Moreover, although these power lines were insulated there’s a huge risk for a shock hazard.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;It appears that people behind this construction were &lt;span style="font-style:italic;"&gt;stubborn as a mule&lt;/span&gt; and expecting public to &lt;span style="font-style:italic;"&gt;swim with the tide&lt;/span&gt;.  The use of this footbridge diminishes ten to twenty percent of traffic problems in the area but at the cost of the safety of the public.  They could’ve placed it in a more strategic location or moved the power line overhead the footbridge before opening it to public.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;In the meantime, I don’t give a hoot about a traffic officer shouting at me if he sees me crossing under the bridge.
